The author of Ecclesiastes frets over the reality that death is a cloud looming over all of life. He recognizes God's in control of all things, but is still frustrated. His perspective was limited however and he didn't have a fuller picture like we do now. We can look back on these issues through the lens of the New Testament and recognize the glorious hope God has given us through Christ - the one who conquered the grave.

Like with "El", there are many compound names that are based off of "Yahweh" or "Jehovah". We take a look at several and discover they all actually speak to what God does versus what we cannot do for ourselves. Because of my (Pastor Lee) own fault, the sermon was not recorded.
